Boeing provides PPG Aerospace/PRC DeSoto CA1000-60Z 6 OZ Corrosion Inhibiting Sealant, non-curing, non-chromate compound. It has a service temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 240°F (116°C), with intermittent excursions up to 275°F (135°C). This material acts as an effective barrier against the common causes of corrosion on aluminum alloys or between dissimilar metals. The compound remains permanently mastic after prolonged exposure to aircraft fuels, both jet fuel and aviation gas. CA 1000 is a one-part, epoxy capped, Permapol polysulfide compound. The material is a thixotropic paste suitable for application by brush or spatula. ;CB200-40=C8;Click Bond CB200-40 acrylic structural adhesive is a two part thixotropic paste adhesive which quickly bonds a wide variety of prepped or un-prepped plastics and metals.
It cures quickly at room temperature and exhibits excellent environmental and chemical resistance. CB200 adhesives replace riveting, welding, and other fastening methods and is the recommended method for bonding Click Bond fasteners.
