Product Description
3M™ AC-130 BoeGel is a sol-gen surface preparation for projects that involve adhesive bonding of steel, aluminum alloys and titanium. This product improves adhesion, which results from the chemical interaction between the metal, the AC-130-2 BoeGel and the primer.
- Allows various metallic substances to be prepared at the same time
- Up to 35 percent reduction in labor-time vs. PAA process; reduces process flow time over Grit Blast Silane, PANTA™ and PACS™
- Supports various application techniques - spray, brush, wipe or dip
- Mechanical results comparable to PAA prepared surfaces
- Less Aircraft on Ground (AOG) time compared to traditional processes; curing can take place in ambient temperature, making field repair possible
- Minimum of 35 percent less labor time due to reduction in process flow time
